Hello 🌻I'm an Early Childhood Educator with a deep-rooted passion for nature-based learning & social-emotional development.While completing my degree in Outdoor Ed. & Wilderness Therapy, my career began working with children 1-5 y. o. as a nanny. From there, I spent 3 years guiding adolescents in therapeutic programs-an experience that profoundly shaped my approach to education.I have spent the last 5 rewarding years at a forest school, first as a lead teacher and eventually as Assistant Director, where I led programs for children 2. 5 - 10yrs. Our curriculum was child-centered, and grounded in exploration, empathy, and the natural world. Specialized Care: ADHD, Allergies, Autism, Developmental Challenges

I have been a stay at home mom to two boys for the last 17 years. My oldest is graduating high school in a few short months and I am finding I have a lot more time on my hands now that they both don't need me as much (If at all).My family and I have lived in Oak Ridge for the last four years after having lived in Canada for six years.I currently fill my free time when I'm not at soccer games, at track meets, or at cross country matches going to the gym and volunteering at my church!I am looking for some part time watching kids as I miss those younger phases my boys used to be in.I am available during the days, but am open to possible nights, weekend work depending on my schedule.
