Hi! I started out babysitting for family and friends, and I’ve always really enjoyed working with kids. I’m patient, reliable, and like to keep things fun while also making sure kids are safe and comfortable. I also run a youth basketball training business, so I’m used to working with children of different ages and personalities.I’m currently a college student studying biology and working toward becoming an occupational therapist, with plans to specialize in pediatrics. I worked as a paraprofessional for the St. Lucie County school district. There I got to take care of children who had autism and medical fragility (such as Prater Willi syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and Down syndrome). I left the public school system to learn new approaches to childcare and education leading me to a work as a primary Guide at Sun Grove Montessori in Fort Pierce, Florida and The Children's House of Ormond Beach. During the pandemic, in order to have more reliable work and expand - I became a nanny and have found a niche within childcare that speaks to my skillset, allowing me to do work I genuinely care for and thrive in. I specialize in the care of infants (as young as two months) and toddlers (up to 3 years of age).
