I’m the oldest of four and a member of a huge family, so childcare has been a constant in my life before I even had the choice! I love going to the gym, figure skating, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and baking in my free time. I have a little sister who is 10, so lots of experience with kids! I helped care for her frequently growing up, so I know how to work with and engage children in every developmental stage. I’ve also worked in childcare since I was 12, starting as a mother's helper and a volunteer in my church’s childcare program. During that time I spent two years working with infants and babies, a year in the 2-year-old classroom, and several years with the three and four-year-olds. Additionally, throughout much of middle school, and all of high school I babysat regularly for many families in my community. I’ve also nannied for two families. The first family had a 5 and 7-year-old that I worked with for two years, and the second family had a 6-month-old that I cared for two summers ago. I am comfortable providing care for children of all ages and planning engaging, educational activities and outings for them.
