Hi! My name is Sophia T and I am a freshman at Baylor here in Waco! I am currently an undecided, major transferring into the pre-business program on the pro sales track in hopes of being a medical sales professional. I love hanging out with kids and have been since about seventh grade! Along with occasional babysitting for a variety of families, the last two years of high school nanny for two families in my hometown(Charlotte NC) and it was the best experience of my life! This job entail five year-old (one family) to school, camps, errands, etc. As well as a seven, three, and nine year-old (the other family) to sports practices and camps. With both families I would do meal prep for kids schools and camps, occasional laundry, and house cleaning as well as being equipped with car seat installation! I’ve worked with children from age 0 months to 13 years. I believe that nanny/babysitting is one of the most rewarding but perfectly challenging jobs! In addition to babysitting/nannying locally I work at my church nursery center on Sundays, back home, and I have worked at bilingual VBS at my church over the summer for children with both financial and special needs! I love working with kids because I’ve always found connecting with them to be eye-opening for me! I love to see the way kids see the world and I think it makes me a better person in the process! I am really excited to get plugged into a good community of families outside of college now that I am here in Texas!
