Hey y’all! I’m Laurel and I graduated from Auburn in May with my degree in Nutrition. I will be starting UAB’s Accelerated Masters in Nursing program in January. I have been babysitting for 10 years now and taking care of children for even longer as the oldest of four siblings! I love working with kids, and in addition to babysitting, I also have experience as a pediatric medical assistant and volunteering in pediatric occupational therapy. Hi parents! Im new to this app and am hoping to be able to help you and your family. I graduated from Auburn University in August 2020 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I moved up to Birmingham in February 2021 and started working for a non-profit organization called Magic Moments. We grant wishes to children with chronic life threatening illnesses who live in the state of Alabama. I have babysat and/or worked in a childcare setting since I was 15 years old caring for a wide variety of children. The youngest being just 3 weeks old. I think it is so important that you have a sitter who is active and engaged with your children and I am just that person. I love playing outside and really getting to build relationships with the children and families I babysit for. I am happy to help with homework or house work (laundry, cleaning, dishes, etc) as well.
