Hey there!🌺 I'm Katelyn, freshly back in California from college. I’m currently taking a gap semester before my senior year, and am pursuing an education major with dreams of teaching English abroad. Before coming back home, I attended Our Lady of The Lake University in Texas and played for the women’s soccer team. For fun, I love to hang out with my friends, go to concerts/music festivals, bike spin classes, yoga, pilates, fashion, and photography. When it comes to babysitting I've got loads of experience! I’ve Lived with my nieces, ages 8 and 4, and my 5-year-old nephew for two years. Plus, I've been a teacher assistant and my current job is working as a PE coach for children from ages 4-11 years old. Hello I’m Khushi, pronounced like sushi but with a K. I am a full time student at the University of the Incarnate Word following their pre physical therapy track receiving a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Sciences and a minor in Psychology. I’m an extremely social person so I get along great with kids of all ages and have great communication when it comes to parents or guardians. For many years I served as a youth leader in which I worked with kids from preschool to eighth grade. I was responsible for helping the kids get from one place to another, conducting and supervising activities which I created based upon learning needs, helping prepare and provide snacks, as well as keeping constant communication with parents and providing details of the child’s behavior and any other possible concerns. I also have a BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, meaning I am certified in First aid, as well as adult, child, and infant CPR. The training I received to attain this certification gives me confidence in my ability to keep children safe when they are within my care.

I am a college graduate & mom of an amazing two year old boy. I am currently going to nursing school at MUSC to become a NICU nurse.
