I’m currently a student-athlete at Jackson State University. I’m looking to have a flexible schedule that works around school and soccer and can work any evenings after 6:00. Over the weekend I’m completely free! I come from a family with 6 siblings and have experience with kids ranging from newborns to 12 year olds. I can also handle watching multiple kids at once!

I have three years of babysitting experience, where I've developed great skills in caring for children and keeping them engaged. I was also in Girl Scouts for 7 years, which taught me valuable teamwork and leadership skills. I love outdoor activities and enjoy spending time in nature, whether it's hiking or playing sports. I’ve been a professional Nanny for 7 years and just moved to the Henderson area. I’m in the middle of job hunting but I miss being around kids. This job, even on the hard days, doesn’t feel like a job. It feels rewarding and fun. I learn something new each day and have fun doing it. I try to make sure I build a strong bond of trust between us no matter how short our time together is. To me I’m not just a child’s Nanny but also their friend. My top priority is the emotional, mental, and physical health of any child in my care. My only form of discipline is a timeout but otherwise I like to talk through issues with kids and find the root of what’s bothering them. I believe that if a child is acting out then there is something wrong and they just don’t have a healthy way of expressing it yet. I LOVE animals and kids and so having a job where I can be around one or both is a dream come true! A little note: they didn’t have the college I attended so I put the one they had closest to mine. I actually attended Santa Rosa Junior College and graduated with two AA degrees in Social and Behavioral Sciences/Humanities. All other info is correct
