I just turned 25 years old and I’ve been babysitting and nannying professionally in the US for three and a half years and informally in Panama for almost ten years. Some of the things I enjoy doing the most with the kids I’ve worked with is reading stories, engaging in meaningful conversations, and incorporating interactive games that spark joy. I also enjoy introducing children to Spanish music and dance. Being a confidant too. I am open minded and I love to hear what the parents desire for their children and apply it to my own style so it can be adjusted to the family. I’d say the best families for me are the ones that are laid back enough that small things aren’t a huge problem but very communicative and transparent so I know what they like and don’t like so I can adjust, and stern enough so that there’s a respectful relationship between children and adults.
