Hey there! I just wanted to share a bit about myself. I've been working in childcare for a whopping 25 years! I'm certified in Adult, Child, and Infant Pediatrics CPR/AED and First Aid, and I also have a Newborn Care Specialist certificate from the Newborn Care Solutions Foundation. I'm originally from California and I share my home with a beloved feline friend named Ninibean. I adore all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to the little critters. When it comes to music, I'm all about '80s classic rock and roll, especially Hall and Oates, and I've got a soft spot for tunes from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, with a sprinkle of country music in the mix.My grown son is off living his best life, and I couldn't be prouder. Working with children is truly my passion. On top of that, I'm a big fan of skincare and anything related to beauty. While we can't halt the aging process, I firmly believe we can slow it down a bit. My journey into childcare started at the YMCA. I initially pursued a career as a cosmetologist and even did some studies in psychology at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California. However, my son needed me more, so I put my education on hold. That's when I found the YMCA, and it was an amazing experience. I continued my education at Somerset Preschool in Westminster, California, and eventually found my way to the Westminster School District, where I spent 10 wonderful years. I also took night classes at Huntington Beach Adult Education, where I completed my medical assisting certificates.During the last year of my son's senior year, we decided to move to Minnesota where I got my first Nannies job. I then moved to Virginia and am now ready to create new memories with a new family. Thank you so much for listening to my story.
