I have been babysitting for a very long time. My mom ran her own daycare my entire childhood, and this gave me the chance to become a leader. I helped her out almost 24/7 with the kids. As I grew up I realized this was something I really enjoy, and being around kids are a positive experience for me. I am very creative and crafty. I recently worked at a daycare for longer than a year and it was the best decision I have ever made. I miss it very much though, and that’s why I have made the decision to nanny. I recently retired and want to continue supporting other families. My wife and I have one son in college, and two adopted daughters in junior high. We’ve had 17 foster children and that continues to be important for us. We like to spend time camping, fly fishing, biking and skiing. We are all very active and our kids run track, play volleyball, tennis, and basketball. I’ve coached various sports for about 12 years, from kindergarteners up to high school.
