Hello! I'm a graduate student at Beeson Divinity School at Samford (originally from Franklin, TN), studying Greek and Hebrew languages. My husband and I have been married a little over a year, and he's beginning officer training with the US Marine Corps starting in January, although I’ll be in town until May (when I graduate). I'm a 25 and teach and tutor Latin, literature, history, writing, and grammar to junior high and high school students during the school year (when I'm not in school myself). I just finished teaching at Thales Academy in Franklin, Tennessee before relocated to Birmingham for grad school. I am the 2nd of 4 kids and grew up caring for my younger sisters and younger cousins. I served as a full-time governess to a wonderful pair of 8-year-old twins, and I have significant experience caring for children with Down syndrome and Angelman syndrome (including g-tube feedings, seizures, meds, etc.). I love quiet days with infants and young kids, reading books, and helping older students with homework. My Wyndy account is new, as I mostly use Care.com, but I can provide several references.

I am a behavioral health specialist and am currently home for the holidays. I have my BSc in Psychology (Birmingham-Southern) and my MSc in Health Psychology (University of Westminster, London). In London I have recently accepted a guidance counsellor position in a residential program for adolescents with mental health concerns. While completing my masters I had an internship with Reach Out UK, an organisation which provides mentoring for students at underserved primary schools in London. Previously I have worked for The Exceptional Foundation and Early Autism Services. I have over 8 years of childcare experience and over 3 years of experience in working with children with special needs. I’ve worked with kids from 6 weeks to 16 years old! I have watched kids for over 10 years, from my own siblings to church and school nurseries and childcare to community families and even my own nieces absolutely nephew. I love being around kids and I am a great cook, clean up everything, big proponent of playing outside or doing arts and crafts inside. I can also just hang with teens and make sure everything is safe and clean while they do their own thing. Other than snakes or rodents, I’m great with animals!
