Hello! My name is Marla. I am 19 years old and work in childcare for the Austin school district. I also teach color guard at a lovely middle school. My passion is working with kids and creating a safe space for everyone. Currently, I am studying social work at Austin Community College, with the dream of becoming a social worker and giving back to the community. Growing up, I was always babysitting or watching children, ranging from newborns to kids my own age! I am a teacher during the day and after school I am a basketball coach and also swim instructor. I am AED certified and also lifeguard certified.

Hi! I am a graduate of UT Austin and an incoming medical student currently living at home in Laredo, TX for my gap year. I love spending time with kids!

I worked as a nanny throughout my college years, caring for children ranging from 9 months to 7 years old. I found most of the families I worked with through nanny websites, and over time many of them referred me to friends and other families in the Austin area. More recently, my sister had a baby, so I’ve also gained experience caring for newborns and young infants. I am also CPR certified, which allows me to provide an extra level of safety and confidence while caring for children. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and creating a fun, safe, and caring environment where they can have fun while parents feel confident their children are in good hands.

Through a volunteer program for Houston, I've gained valuable childcare experience for ages newborns -18 yrs. Hello, I am college student currently at Acc planning to transfer to UT. I have worked with kids my whole life basically since I took care of my lil brother since he was born. I also did baby sitting for my neighbors for their toddler for about a year.
