Hello there! My name is Olivia, but I prefer to be called Liv. I’m from Midlothian, Virginia, where I've spent my entire life living in various parts of the state. I relocated to Stillwater, OK with my fiancée two years ago to start our new life together, complete with our two dogs. My passions include art, such as painting, drawing and sculpting. In fact, art and childcare have been my lifelong pursuits. My love for childcare started at an early age when I began raising my little sister, who was then three years old and is now 16. When I was around 12 years old, my family and I became homeless, and I would often care for and engage with the other children in the shelter, by taking them out side to do activities or doing craft days in the dining area. This experience cemented my desire to become a childcare worker. Throughout my career, I have worked with children ranging in age from infancy to 15 years. My past roles have included being a recreational instructor, art teacher, and pre-k and preschool teacher at The Leaf Spring School in Chester, Virginia. After departing from LeafSpring, I served as a nanny for a family with a 5-month-old child for a duration of five months, just before relocating to Stillwater, OK. Upon arriving in Oklahoma, I took up the role of an art teacher at StillyArts in Stillwater, OK. Subsequently, I've been nannying and most recently worked with a family of four children, who were aged 1, 2, 3, and 9 years. My other recent engagement was as a nanny for a 2-year-old boy with high-functioning autism. I am now on the hunt for a new nannying position as my last employer moved out of state. My skills include arts and crafts, meal preparation, cooking, pet sitting, baking, promoting childhood milestones achievement, diaper changing, managing nap times, cleaning, and many other qualities!As for my qualifications: I have obtained my Parapro License and hold a CDA License as well as a CPR/First Aid certification. I’m also just two semesters away from obtaining my degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Child Psychology.
