About the Role

We are a warm, organized family seeking a reliable, calm, and proactive House Manager/Nanny to support our household and care for our children. This role blends hands-on childcare with household management and is ideal for someone who values structure, consistency, and creating a nurturing, engaged environment.

Children
Two children ages 4 and 3
Occasional care for a 3-month-old infant (rare and only for short periods when a parent is briefly unavailable)

Primary Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
Morning Support (7:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
Assisting children with morning routines (wake-up, dressing, brushing teeth, hair)
Preparing and serving breakfast for the children
Packing school items as needed
Keeping the kitchen tidy after the morning rush (wipe counters, empty dishwasher if needed, take out trash/recycling, sweep and mop kitchen/dining area)
Driving children to school and ensuring they arrive on time by 8:50 AM (no exceptions)
After school drop-off, completing light household tasks such as:
Folding and organizing laundry
Light tidying and resetting of common areas and children’s spaces
Vacuuming as needed

Evening Support (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Picking up children from school
Preparing and feeding the children dinner
Bathing the children and assisting with bedtime routines (pajamas, brushing teeth, winding down)
Family dinner is at 6:00 PM (you are welcome to eat with us)
During this time, assist with light household tasks such as tidying, folding laundry, or holding the baby while remaining attentive and close by in case the children need water, bathroom assistance, or additional support

House Management (Ongoing)
Light daily tidying and resetting of common areas and children’s spaces
Folding and organizing the family’s laundry; ironing as needed
Emptying dishwasher and vacuuming as needed
Restocking diapers and emptying diaper pails
Collecting daily mail and managing packages (unboxing, breaking down boxes, organizing deliveries)
Running errands as needed (grocery pickup, dry cleaning, returns, donations, etc.)
Monitoring household inventory and ordering supplies via Costco, Amazon, Target, etc.
Organizing 1–2 areas per week (fridge, pantry, toy bins, closets, clothing drawers)

Requirements
Minimum 3 professional references
Background check required
Proven experience caring for young children
Calm, patient, loving, and attentive demeanor
(No yelling or physical discipline — ever)
Minimal personal phone use while supervising children (emergencies only)
Punctual, dependable, and able to provide advance notice for absences
Comfortable working in a home with Ring cameras
Healthy and reliable, with consistent attendance
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
CPR & First Aid certified
