About Summer

Hello! It’s nice to meet you. My name is Summer and I am looking for a new job with a loving family. I live in Raleigh and have been working with kids since I graduated from college in 2022. I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated with a bachelors in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Wanting to gain experience working with kids, I began my first elementary education position and haven’t stopped since. I’ve worked in regular education and special education; which is where I am now :) I love working with kids and am proud to say I’ve gained a lot of experience doing so within the last 3 years. Being a role model, communicating with each other, and seeing students become confident in their skills and abilities, will always be my favorite part of working in schools. Aside from that, I have worked as a nanny for about a year. I enjoyed being a nanny, and have many great memories from it with the kids who I cared for :) I’m returning to school this fall to continue my education and am seeking a change, due to my schedule changing.
