About Sherlyn

Hi! I'm a psychology graduate (B.S.) with a lifelong passion for working with children and families. As the oldest of seven siblings, I helped care for my six younger brothers and sisters, ranging from infancy to their teen years, throughout my childhood, giving me hands-on experience with kids at every developmental stage. Since then, I've built on that foundation professionally: I taught kids' ministry for 3 years (ages 1–9), tutored 3rd–6th graders, and currently work as a behavior technician with 4–6 year olds. I'm CPR certified as of 9/11/26, and I have reliable transportation with a clean driving record. Outside of caretaking, I enjoy cooking, reading, doing crafts, and spending time outdoors, and I love sharing those hobbies with the kids I care for. I'd love to bring my patience, experience, and genuine love of childcare to your family!
