Hi families! 👋 My name is Kennedi and I'm currently pursuing my Master’s in Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill I’m looking to become a consistent and reliable babysitter for a few families who need ongoing support. I genuinely enjoy caring for children and have years of experience in both structured educational settings and casual caregiving environments. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and hold an Associate in Arts from Central Community College. While working toward my degrees, I’ve built a strong foundation in childcare through various roles including: * Childcare provider at Myers Park United Methodist Church (ages 6 weeks to 5 years) * Teacher Assistant in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools * Afterschool and Summer Camp Counselor for kids K–5 * Recreational Assistant leading fitness workshops and afterschool activities * Residential Assistant, supporting youth and young adults with structured programming and supervision My experiences also include volunteering in school garden clean-ups, flu shot and blood drive campaigns, and providing classroom support for students with disabilities. These opportunities have helped me become patient, detail-oriented, and adaptable—qualities that are essential when working with children. I'm committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child in my care.
