About Alexis

Hi! My name is Alexis, and I have a genuine passion for working with children of all ages. I currently work in a daycare setting, where I care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children every day. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel comfortable. While I enjoy working with children of all ages, I especially prefer working with infants and toddlers because I love being part of their early development and helping them reach important milestones. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy helping children learn and watching their personalities shine. There is nothing more rewarding than building trusting relationships with families and knowing that parents can have peace of mind while their children are in my care. I enjoy engaging children in creative play, educational activities, and helping them reach important developmental milestones. What experience do you have? I have professional experience working in a daycare setting, caring for children ranging from infants to preschoolers. Through my work, I have gained hands-on experience with feeding routines, diaper changes, nap schedules, potty training, age-appropriate activities, and managing multiple children at once. I also offer weekend babysitting services and have experience providing one-on-one care in family homes. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR certified and trained in child safety practices. My experience working in early childhood care has helped me develop strong communication, patience, problem-solving, and organizational skills. I am dependable, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality care tailored to each child’s individual needs. I am also pursuing my education in Early Childhood Development, which allows me to continue expanding my knowledge of child growth and development.
