About Mikala
Hi! I’m Mikala, a graduate student at High Point University, where I’ll be graduating with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree this coming April. I’ve always had a passion for working with children, and growing up, I had the privilege of helping out at my grandma’s in-home daycare. I worked there for several years and gained invaluable experience caring for kids of all ages. In addition to my daycare experience, I’ve worked in the NICU and PICU at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital, which has given me extensive experience caring for ill babies. I’m also CPR certified, so you can feel confident knowing that your little ones are in safe hands. When I’m not studying or working, I love to travel and explore new foods. I’m excited to meet your family and help create a fun, safe, and caring environment for your children!
