About Jamya

Hi! My name is Jamya, and I’m a caring, patient, and dependable childcare provider who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have experience providing childcare and babysitting for children of different ages and personalities, and I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves. I also have professional experience working with children with autism and other developmental needs as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Through this experience, I have developed skills in communication, patience, behavior support, following routines, teaching daily living skills, and helping children build independence. I’m comfortable working with children who may need additional support with communication, transitions, emotions, or daily activities. When caring for children, I prioritize their safety and well-being while also making sure they have fun. I enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, reading, music, puzzles, and other age-appropriate activities. I’m also comfortable helping with meals, bedtime routines, homework, and keeping children on their regular schedules. My goal is to provide parents with peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, caring, and trustworthy environment. I treat every child with patience, respect, and kindness, and I’m committed to making each childcare experience positive and enjoyable.
