About Makayla

Hi! My name is Makayla, and I have several years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I currently work as a toddler teacher and have previously worked as an ABA therapist, an AmeriCorps teaching fellow, and an activity assistant, all of which have strengthened my passion for supporting children’s growth and development. I am certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) to work with infants and toddlers, and I am also CPR certified. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have a particular interest in working with children and families. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and feel supported. I enjoy planning creative activities, spending time outdoors, and building strong relationships with both children and their families.
