Hi I’m Katherine! I am currently gaining hands-on experience as a teacher’s aide at a licensed learning center, where I work with children aged 6 weeks to 11 years. In this role, I primarily support the development and care of infants and toddlers through daily routines such as feeding, diapering, naptime, and engaging in age-appropriate learning activities. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Medication Administration, which allows me to provide a safe and nurturing environment at all times. Although I may not have years of formal nannying experience, I have a genuine passion for working with children. I am known for my ability to be self-sufficient and for consistently going above and beyond without being asked. My adaptability, strong communication skills, organization, multitasking capabilities, and calm demeanor under pressure help me create a supportive and positive atmosphere where children can grow and thrive. Raised on a horse farm in Carroll County, I developed a strong work ethic, a deep sense of responsibility, and a passion for caring for both people and animals. I am a dedicated and motivated student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management online at Louisiana State University. This program provides the flexibility I need to focus on my work with families. I strive to build meaningful relationships with children and their families through a dependable and compassionate approach.
