About Leanna

Hi there! My name is Leanna, I am a dedicated in compassionate person with over 10 years of experience, working with children of all ages from infants to school age children. I pride myself on creating a nurturing, safe and engaging environment where children feel supported. In the past, I have worked with families as a full-time nanny, part-time caregiver, occasional babysitter and elementary teacher adapting to the needs of the children in my care. I am CPR and first aid certified and well-versed in child development and psychology. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring, having a picnic or spending time at the beach. I also enjoy painting, drawing, baking, yoga and reading. I am a very creative and enthusiastic person. One of my favorite aspects of being a teacher is organizing engaging activities that foster creativity, curiosity and kindness in my students.
