About Mckenzie

I have worked in a daycare setting for the past year and a half, where I have gained valuable hands-on experience caring for and teaching young children. Each day, I help create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment while supervising children and meeting their individual needs. My daily responsibilities include preparing and leading age-appropriate learning activities, arts and crafts, reading, practicing basic educational skills, encouraging language and social development, and providing opportunities for indoor and outdoor play. I also assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks, feeding children when needed, diapering and potty-training routines, nap time, classroom cleaning, and maintaining an organized environment. Throughout the day, I monitor children’s behavior and development, help resolve conflicts, provide comfort and emotional support, and encourage positive behavior and independence. My daycare experience has strengthened my patience, communication, classroom management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills while allowing me to build meaningful relationships with the children in my care.
