About Emma

I’m a 19-year-old college student who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids and making sure they have a fun, safe, and comfortable time while their parents are away! I’ve had the opportunity to babysit for a family of boys for the past two summers. During the day, I would make lunch, take them to the park and other places, and come up with things to do to keep them entertained. I’ve also babysat a brother and sister from time to time for a few hours, where we would make up games, play together, and find fun ways to spend our time. I also have experience as a daycare teacher, which gave me even more experience working with children and taught me how to be patient, responsible, and creative when it comes to keeping kids happy and engaged. It was an experience I really enjoyed and learned a lot from! I’m currently attending Northwest Shoals Community College and plan to transfer to the University of North Alabama to study Social Work. I’m a caring, responsible, and easygoing person, and I love getting to know each child’s personality and finding activities they enjoy. Whether it’s playing outside, doing crafts, coming up with silly games, or just hanging out, I’m always happy to make babysitting a fun experience! I’d love to get to know your family and hopefully become someone you can feel comfortable and confident having care for your kids!
