Hi! My name is Alayna, and I love to help with kids by creating engaging activities for them.

Growing up I had lots of younger cousins that I babysat while everyone was away at work. In High School, I also used to volunteer to help with the younger kids for school events like field day or heritage day, or coming to read to a class. I was also apart of the Metter High School softball team and every summer we had something called Buddy Ball and children of all ages came out for 3 days to participate. This was all volunteer work, but I just love working with children.

Working with children is something I genuinely enjoy, and I've built my experience through a variety of childcare settings over the past 8–9 years. I've been babysitting children ranging from 12 months old through the teenage years, caring for families with one or multiple children. My responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, organizing engaging activities, helping with bedtime routines, assisting with homework, and creating a safe, supportive environment where kids feel comfortable and have fun.For the past two summers, I've also worked at an overnight camp for neurodivergent youth. In this role, I've supported campers with diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs while helping facilitate daily activities, encourage independence, and build positive peer relationships. This experience has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities.
