I run a high acuity progressive care unit as a charge nurse with adults. I enjoy my job so much but I am interested in taking care of babies and children and extending my care to them!I have been a nurse for 7 years. While I was in college I was a nanny for a family with three boys. Two of which had special needs. I loved that job so very much, they are all so special to me. I worked with them for three years.I have been married for four years and my husband and I enjoy anything outdoors- hiking, camping, boating. We also have a dog, Lilly, that we bring with us on our adventures.I am excited to see what the future brings, and I hope I can be a good fit for your family’s needs.

Hi! My name is Britt B, and I recently moved to CO from Chicago. I graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Psychology, and hope to pursue a graduate degree in Library Sciences and Information in the near future. I’m a full-time gardener in Boulder and absolutely love being outside! I garden in my free time, as well, and enjoy reading, cooking/baking and spending time with my two cats. Prior to the move, I was teaching at a Montessori school for 0-3 years, and then nannying children ages 0-2. I’m comfortable working with older children, but my most recent experience has been with infants and toddlers. I love to get the children involved with their daily routine (meal prep, tidying, dressing); I also enjoy taking them outside for lots of safe play/exploration! I’m a gardener in Boulder full-time, so I’ll be looking for babysitting opportunities in the evenings and on the weekends.

Currently a stay at home mom of a 3 and 5yr old. We are always doing crafts and fun activities. I volunteer for Girl Scouts heart of central California and my daughter is a Daisy. We sure currently practicing and playing with concepts founded in the Girl Scout law (i.e. how to be… friendly, kind, honest, fair, strong, courageous, etc. )I live walking distance from Santucci park and coyote ridge elementary school. I have a fully enclosed back yard and dedicated play room. I’m happy to prepare meals and available anytime but limited to my home. I can pick up and drop off to nearby schools assuming the child is dropped off and picked up from my residence. I have experience with kiddos on the ASD spectrum.I promote environments that condone self lead learning and exploration. I facilitate and implement behavioral corrections through positive reinforcement. Sticker charts, prizes, points, etc. We have 2 clownfish, no cats or dogs. I live in a safe neighborhood in Junction West in a private 2 story residence.
