We’re looking for a compassionate and energetic babysitter to care for our two wonderful children, Sophie and James. Sophie enjoys arts and crafts, while James has a boundless curiosity for science and nature. We live in a lovely Upper West Side apartment, and evenings here are filled with fun and learning. Your role will be to create a safe and engaging environment where our kids’ imaginations can thrive. Occasionally, you may need to help prep simple dinner meals. Your initiative and creativity will be greatly appreciated in making their evenings special. We aim to foster a nurturing atmosphere where our kids can unwind and be themselves. Experience with similar-aged children is highly recommended.
Responsibilities
• Engage children with educational and playful activities
• Assist with dinner prep and light cleanup
• Keep the play area tidy and orderly
• Ensure bedtime routine is upbeat and secure
Qualifications
• Previous babysitting experience with primary school children
• Creative and energetic demeanor
• Background check required
• Basic cooking skills for making easy dinners
