We are a busy family living in the heart of New York and we're looking for a caring and energetic babysitter for our playful son, Jake, who's 7. We're keen to find someone who can keep up with his boundless energy, especially after school hours. Your main role will be ensuring he's engaged in fun activities, helping with homework, and making sure he completes his reading assignments. If you have experience with kids and love making them smile, we'd love to have you join our family adventure. Our home is a lively and friendly place, and we’re excited to welcome someone who can bring warmth and enthusiasm to Jake's afternoons. Please let us know if you are available!
Responsibilities
• Pick up Jake from school safely and punctually.
• Assist with nightly homework and projects.
• Organize creative and fun activities.
• Serve pre-prepared dinner and clean up.
• Communicate any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
• Previous experience with school-aged children.
• Warm and patient personality.
• Flexible hours for additional help if needed.
• Familiarity with educational activities for kids.
• Must love reading and storytelling.
