In Mount Vernon, OH family in need of an after-school babysitter.

We’re looking for someone kind, dependable, and consistent to help care for our two girls. One of the biggest things for us is finding someone who can be with our family long-term so our girls can really get to know you, feel comfortable with you, and look forward to you coming over.

We’re most likely looking for 3 days a week, for about 3–4 hours at a time. Our goal is for these to be the same three days each week so there’s a predictable and consistent routine. We just don’t know exactly which three days yet because we’re waiting to receive my husband’s official work schedule. Once we have that, we should be able to set a regular schedule.

I’ll be working from home, so we’re mainly looking for someone to spend time with the girls, play with them, help with activities, and keep them occupied while I finish my workday. Our oldest is homeschooled, so there may occasionally be some help with finishing up her schoolwork as well.

We also have two very friendly dogs who are wonderful with our kids, so we’d want someone who is comfortable having them around.

More than anything, we’re hoping to find someone trustworthy, patient, and loving who will become a familiar and consistent part of our girls’ routine. 🤍
