Energetic, Fun, and Firm Afternoon Educator Needed at Family in Mclean

Join Our Family Team - Energetic, Fun, and Firm Afternoon Educator Needed We're a busy, friendly family in Mclean (22101) looking for an afternoon tutor-caregiver to support our three kids (9, 7, 5). If you enjoy the energy and enthusiasm of young kids, helping with homework, encouraging kids to do their chores and keep to their routines - all with a good sense of humor, this position is for you! Responsibilities: - Kind, responsible, and very organized adult presence who can be a role model for the kids of how to be respectful, thoughtful, and resilient - Homework supervision and support, especially math, piano, and chess for our oldest and math and reading English for our younger two. No knowledge of piano or chess required - Enforcing clean up after play and chores after meals -Disciplining kids when needed according to a shared system with parents - Transporting kids to activities and sports -Daily snack prep, occasional meal prep but mostly heating up meals -Occasional local errands Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:30-8:00 PM, opportunity to babysit on weekends too. Pay: $25-30. Timeline: Now through June 2027, with option to continue the following years Requirements: - A safe, licensed driver with a reliable car - A college student or graduate - Responsible, organized, genuinely enjoys kids -Strong swimmer and CPR certified/willing to get certified (we have a pool) To apply, please provide a resume and a few references.
