Experienced babysitter needed for a family in Fairfax, VA.

Job Description

Notes about this job: We’d like a nanny who can engage in fun and enriching activities with Laura. It would be helpful if they could also do some light housework, such as cleaning up after Laura (e.g., putting toys away and dishes in the dishwasher). Having a car isn’t necessary, but would be helpful, for example to take Laura to the park.

Notes about the schedule: We’re looking to hire someone at about 20hr/wk, mostly in the evenings and weekends. I would say roughly 5-8pm Mon-Fri and 5hr on either Saturday or Sunday. We’re flexible when it comes to planned breaks, such vacations, but we’ve had difficulties with reliability in the past, such as people not showing up at a pre-scheduled time without notice. We’d be willing to do a guaranteed number of hours a week, even if we don’t always need that many hours, with the understanding that the prearranged time would be set aside for us.
