Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy babysitter to care for a well-behaved 10-year-old child. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and enjoys working with children. This position may include after-school care and occasional evening hours.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and ensure the child’s safety at all times
• Prepare simple snacks or meals when needed
• Help with homework if necessary
• Engage in fun, age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, outdoor play)
• Limit screen time and encourage positive activities
• Light clean up after activities or meals
• Communicate with the parent about how the day went

Requirements:
• Experience caring for children
• Responsible, dependable, and patient
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation (if applicable)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required

Additional Notes:
The child is 10 years old and fairly independent but still needs supervision and someone who can keep them engaged and safe.
