Job Description

Notes about this job: A compassionate and dedicated Evening/Weekend Nanny and House Manager is needed for a short-term role with a cool family in Chicago. The family has a full-time nanny who covers weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, and they are looking for an additional support person who can provide evening and weekend childcare. This position requires a commitment of around 20 hours per week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5 PM to 10 PM, or Tuesdays and Thursdays with similar hours, plus shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM. The ideal candidate will also be available for occasional overnight care twice a month, as one of the children’s moms travels for work and the other is recovering from a chronic illness. They must be open-minded, LGBT-friendly, and experienced in caring for young children, particularly those aged 1 and 8. Public transportation will be utilized, but driving is not a requirement. The position offers a compensation rate of $30 per hour.


Notes about the schedule: Evenings: Mon/Wed/Fri 5 PM–10 PM or Tues/Thurs similar hours

Weekends: Sat & Sun 9 AM–2 PM
