UVA Student Needed: After-School Driver & Family Assistant — $225/Week at Julie & Geoff Montross

Part-Time Family Assistant / After-School Driver for 8-Year-Old Charlottesville family is seeking a reliable, responsible female UVA student to help with after-school transportation and activities for our 8-year-old daughter. COMPENSATION: $225 PER WEEK Approximately 5 - 6 scheduled hours per week, with the possibility of occasional additional paid hours. The primary responsibility will be picking her up from school in Ivy and transporting her to activities in Charlottesville. Some shifts will also include helping her change, get organized, and be ready for ballet class. On either Tuesday or Wednesday, there may occasionally be time available to assist with a few light family errands. Weekly Schedule * Monday: 3:15-4:15 p.m. * Tuesday: 5:00-5:45 p.m. * Wednesday: 3:15-5:45 p.m. * Thursday: 4:30-5:30 p.m. Responsibilities include: * Picking up our daughter from school and transporting her safely to after-school activities * Helping her get ready for ballet classes and piano lesson * Making sure she has everything she needs for her activities * Occasional light family errands during the Tuesday or Wednesday shift * Communicating reliably with parents regarding pickups, schedules, and any changes We are looking for someone who: * Is dependable, punctual, warm, and comfortable with children * Has their own reliable transportation * Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record * Is comfortable transporting a child in their personal vehicle * Can commit consistently to the schedule above * Is willing to complete a background check * Can provide references This would be a great fit for a UVA student looking for a consistent, manageable part-time position that works around a class schedule.
