Job Description

Description: Provide enthusiastic care for our twin girls for five mornings while we are on vacation. Our regular live in nanny will be taking care of them the majority of the time while we are gone. We are looking for someone who can give her a break from providing around-the-clock care for the twins.

Hours and Dates: 6:30AM to 10:30AM from Feb 26 thru March 2, 2026 (5 days). We anticipate that the girls will still be asleep when you arrive. Our nanny will be able to answer the door for you in the morning and then will be going back to sleep. You will turn over care of the girls to our nanny at 10:30 AM (which coincides with their first nap of the day).

Misc Items: Our nanny will be present in the house in the main bedroom for the duration of the time you are babysitting. She can be contacted immediately in case of any emergency. We are of course, reachable by phone as well and will provide our contact information.

Responsibilities:
1) Perform wake up routine, which includes a diaper change and first feed of the day. We keep breakfast very simple: cereal, fruit, and yogurt. We will portion out the food for you as a general guide of the amount we expect them to eat, but they can certainly have more if they are particularly hungry.
2) Perform basic cleanup of the girls and their high chairs after breakfast. Check diapers and change diapers if necessary.
3) Entertain the girls. Activities like reading, climbing and crawling in their playpen, listening to music together at a low volume, or taking a short walk in the neighborhood are all great things that the girls love to do.
4) Provide snacks and water.
5) Get the girls ready for their morning nap (change diapers, change into clean clothes if necessary, and bundle them into sleep sacks) and hand them over to our nanny at 10:30 AM. Our nanny will be responsible for putting them down for their morning nap.

Medical: One of our daughters has a mild peanut allergy. Please only feed the food provided. Please do not give the twins any medication without first speaking to our nanny.
