About Kerris

Hi! My name is Kerris, and I’m a nursing student with a passion for caring for children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. For the past three summers, I worked as a Lead Teacher for Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR), where I supervised and cared for children ranging from 4K through 4th grade. In this role, I planned and led engaging daily activities, games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational experiences. This experience taught me how to manage groups of children with different personalities and needs. In addition to my childcare experience, I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Mother-baby unit where I care for newborn patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role has helped me develop strong attention to detail, compassion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. I am CPR/BLS certified and committed to providing families with dependable, attentive, and nurturing care!
