About Shelbie

With 12+ years of nanny and childcare experience, I’ve had the privilege of watching many children grow, learn, and become their own wonderful people. Somewhere along the way I realized that childcare is more than just a job for me- it’s something I genuinely love. I love getting to know each child’s personality and developing a sweet, lasting friendship with each one built on trust, laughter, kindness, and fun. I have experience with children a couple days old, all the way through the preteen years. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have taken the American Red Cross Advanced Childcare Training, and Safe Sleep training, in addition to my current pursuit of an Early Childhood/ Elementary Education degree. I have worked in a daycare setting where I was responsible for ten infants, and nannied for a family where I was their primary homeschool teacher. I've worked with children with food allergies and dietary restrictions, and regularly transported children to and from school and activities. My many years of experience, training and education, and my passion for working with children has allowed me to grow into a career-nanny; the best job in the world. My goal is simple: to give parents peace of mind while providing their children with the kind of warm, dependable care I would want for my own family.
