About Liz

I recently left my career in nonprofit fundraising and moved to Richmond from Northern VA. Now that I'm here I'm able to slow down a bit and do something that is personally fulfilling. I'm looking for a family that I connect with and with whom our styles mesh. I am a single mom with 2 kids (17, at Radford, and 15, a sophomore in high school) and they are happy well-adjusted teens. I have a lifetime of experience caring for others. My older sister is special needs, and in my family everyone pitches in so I was raised to help care for her. As a teen, I spent Sundays at the church, volunteering in the infant care room. My first real first babysitting job when I was 12, and it is what I continued to do to earn money as a teen and throughout college. My passions have always been kids and animals, caring for them is what I love to do. You'll find I'm helpful, flexible, responsible, and your children will feel safe with me.
