About Alyssa
Hi, my name is Alyssa and I’m a senior Elementary Education major at Longwood University. My hobbies include baking, reading and spending time with friends. I worked at a daycare where I gained experience working with children 1-5 years of age. I also have completed 3 in-classroom practicums, in Kindergarten, 3rd grade and 5th grade. During the school year, I work with 4th graders at a local elementary school with students who need extra support in reading. I grew up watching my little sister, and really enjoyed helping teach her and assisting her with schoolwork, this inspired me to become a teacher.
