My name is Kassie E. I bring over nine years of paid professional childcare experience, along with a strong background in daycare management, school-based support, and in-home nannying. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with families, daycare centers, and school systems to provide consistent, high-quality care tailored to each child’s individual needs. My experience includes management roles within daycare settings, where I supported daily operations, staff coordination, and policy compliance. I have also supported children within Virginia Beach City Public Schools and Norfolk City Public Schools, assisting in classroom environments and reinforcing positive behavior, routines, and learning support. In addition, I have extensive experience working with children with special needs both in school systems and private home settings. This experience is supported by my studies in special needs education and continued education in child psychology, allowing me to approach care with patience, understanding, and adaptability. I have also been involved with the military’s Child and Youth (CYP/CCYH) program, providing care in structured, developmentally appropriate environments. I hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, have completed required state childcare trainings, and am MAT certified. I take pride in being a positive role model who prioritizes safety, clear communication with families, and fostering children’s emotional, social, and developmental growth.
