About Kaitlyn

I'm a caring, dependable, and energetic online university student who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have experience babysitting for multiple families with children of different ages, providing childcare through my church, and creating fun, safe environments where kids feel comfortable and cared for. I also volunteer with Vacation Bible School (VBS) every year, where I lead my own group of children. I love planning activities, keeping kids engaged, and getting to know their individual personalities. This has helped me develop strong leadership, communication, patience, and responsibility. I've also had the unique experience of helping care for foster children who were several years younger than me and endured immense trauma in the system. That experience taught me the importance of compassion, patience, consistency, and being someone children can trust. I'm responsible, and attentive, but I also believe childcare should be fun! I enjoy playing games, doing crafts, reading, helping with homework, and finding activities that keep kids entertained and engaged. My goal is to always make children feel safe, valued, and included. Since I'm an online university student, my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of childcare needs and schedules.
