About Tessa
Hi! I’m Tessa. I have over 8 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities — both neurotypical and those with special or behavioral needs. I’ve worked as a nanny, sitter, tutor, and paraeducator in a special needs classroom, and I’ve cared for children ranging from infants to teens. I’m currently working with a 17-year-old nonverbal autistic teen and have previously supported a child with special needs from ages 7 to 12. I’m creative, patient, and love connecting with kids through play, art, outdoor time, and imagination. I’m CPR/First Aid/AED certified and currently available for morning, early afternoon, and weekend hours.
