About Bailey

Hello! I’ve had experience caring for kids in both informal and volunteer settings. I’ve spent a lot of time helping out with younger family members, keeping them entertained, making simple meals, and making sure they’re safe and happy. I’ve also helped supervise kids during group activities, which has taught me a lot about being patient, communicating well, and working with all kinds of personalities. I really enjoy creating a fun, positive environment while still keeping things structured and responsible! Working at Chrysalis currently has given me valuable experience caring for individuals in a role that shares many responsibilities with babysitting. My job requires me to provide constant supervision, ensure safety, assist with daily routines, encourage positive behavior, and respond calmly and responsibly in different situations. Through this experience, I’ve developed patience, strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to build trusting relationships with those in my care. In addition, I am CPR and First Aid certified, which has prepared me to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations. Families can feel confident knowing that I prioritize safety while creating a fun, supportive, and caring environment.
