About Carla

Hi, I’m Carla and I’ve worked with children practically my entire my life! I grew up helping raise two of my nieces and once they moved away I continued caring for them. They’ve been the light of my life since then and now I’m helping them through their college journey. Childcare has always been something I’ve been passionate about and it started since my middle school days. I volunteered to work with the special education students in the eighth grade and once I reached high school I became a mentor to elementary students. Once I attended university to study computer science, I kept my passion for kids by picking up an AVID tutoring position in Plano ISD. All throughout my undergrad career I tutored middle school students and became someone they could really trust and learn with. I have experience with kids of all ages and I hope you know they will always have a safe place in my care!
