About Jahnaya

Hi! My name is Jahnaya, and I have several years of experience working with children of all ages in both professional and caregiving settings for over 5 years. I currently work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), where I help children with autism develop communication, social, and daily living skills. Through my work, I have learned the importance of patience, creativity, consistency, and creating a fun environment where children feel safe and supported. In addition to my professional experience, I have over two years of babysitting experience and previously worked as a nanny for a wonderful family for just under a year. Even after my time as their nanny ended, we have remained in touch, which means so much to me and speaks to the relationships I strive to build with the families I work with. I will graduate in August with my bachelor’s degree with concentrations in Psychology, Athletic Training, and Health Professions, and I plan to continue my education as I work toward careers as a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician and as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting children with autism. Working with children has always been a passion of mine, and I love finding ways to make learning, play, and everyday activities engaging and enjoyable. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where your child can laugh, learn, grow, and feel cared for.
