About Kayla

Hi, I’m Kayla Balderas! I’m a senior at TCU, majoring in Child Development with a minor in Psychology. Originally from San Diego, California, I have a passion for working with children. This past summer, I gained valuable experience at YMCA summer camps for my 2nd year working there. I worked with kids aged 5 to 13. Throughout high school, I also babysat, caring for children as young as 1 and up to 13 years old. I also work for the company Saving which is a childcare services for churches, non-profit organizations, and after-school programs. I absolutely love spending time with kids and aspire to become a Child Life Specialist in the future. I enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, and playing games with children. I'm also happy to help with household chores and have reliable transportation for drop-offs and pick-ups if needed. I look forward to meeting your wonderful kids and creating fun and memorable experiences together!
