About Irlanda

My caregiving experience began at a young age, growing up in a family of eight as one of the older siblings. I helped care for my younger siblings and later had opportunities to babysit for family friends. As I got older, I worked in daycare settings, which further strengthened my childcare skills. Caregiving comes naturally to me, and I’ve had the opportunity to work in highly structured environments, including being contracted by the government to support unaccompanied minors. In this role, I followed strict safety standards and boundaries while transporting minors across the country by car, airplane, and public transportation. Through this experience, I became very comfortable and confident driving children and ensuring they arrive safely where they need to be. My most recent caregiving roles focused on supporting young adults with behavioral health needs, helping them develop independence and life skills. Overall, I bring patience, responsibility, and a strong commitment to safety and care in every role.
