About Yumadis

Hi! My name is Yumadis (Madi), and I have over 5 years of experience working with and caring for children. As the oldest of three siblings, I've spent much of my life helping care for younger children and have always enjoyed being a positive, supportive presence in their lives. I began my professional childcare experience at 16 years old as a summer camp counselor at a gymnastics and dance academy, where I supervised children, led activities, and helped create a fun and safe environment. I later transitioned into early childhood education, spending over 3 years working in preschool classrooms as both an assistant teacher and lead teacher. In those roles, I helped with daily routines, learning activities, behavior management, meals, and creating a nurturing environment where children could learn and grow. I currently work in a hospital setting, including experience with pediatric patients, which has further strengthened my caregiving, communication, and safety skills. I am patient, dependable, responsible, and genuinely love working with children. Whether it's helping with homework, keeping kids engaged with activities, preparing simple meals, or assisting with bedtime routines, my goal is always to make children feel safe, supported, and cared for while giving parents a peace of mind! :)
