About Daniella

Hi! I’m Daniella! I’m a graduate nursing student at Vanderbilt and have many years of experience working with children of all ages through babysitting, mentoring, teaching, and after-school programming. Before moving to Nashville for school, I served as a site director for a children’s enrichment program, where I helped oversee the care, safety, and day-to-day needs of up to 40 children at a time. I’ve had the opportunity to work with kids across a wide range of ages, personalities, needs, and abilities, including children with ADHD, autism, and other behavioral or developmental differences. My background is in neuroscience and behavioral biology, and I’m currently pursuing nursing with the goal of becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Working with children has been a huge part of what led me toward this path. I genuinely love getting to know each child as an individual and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and very safety-conscious, but I’m also someone who loves being silly, creative, and active with kids. I’m happy to play outside, do crafts, read, help with schoolwork, come up with activities, or simply spend time doing whatever your child loves most. I’m very comfortable helping with big emotions, sibling dynamics, homework, routines, meals, bedtime, and keeping kids entertained and engaged. I know how much trust it takes to leave your child in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I’d love to get to know your family and be someone both you and your kids are excited to see and can feel comfortable relying on!
